WELCOME TO THE
MUSEUM OF SHADOWS

SCROLL DOWN

Mission

The Museum of Shadows explores how light and darkness interact to create images, emotions, and stories. Our mission is to show that even in shadow, beauty and imagination can flourish.

Vision

To become a creative hub in Central Asia where visitors play with light, form, and motion to discover new perspectives on art, science, and perception.

History

Founded in 2018 by artists and engineers of light, the Museum began as a pop-up art project in an abandoned workshop on the right bank of Astana.

It has since evolved into an immersive space that merges technology, visual storytelling, and the ancient art of shadow theater.
